Hardship Fund

In harmony with the COCF’s aim of fostering community resilience, in addition to funding projects for organisations and individuals, the Fund also operates a ‘Hardship’ arm. The intention is to alleviate or, if at all possible, pre-empt the burden that hidden poverty places on members of our community.

It is expected that the Hardship Arm of the Fund will provide an important contribution to the well-being of the community as we face an unprecedented rise in the cost of living.

The Hardship fund is available to any community member in need, with applicants referring themselves to the Fund’s Administrator William Young directly, whose details you will find below.

Applicants can be assured that their application will be treated completely confidentially, without going through the Panel system. Furthermore, applicants can be assured that this part of the fund will be audited by number only, not by applicant's name.

Currently twenty percent of the Fund is allocated for hardship use - (equating  approximately to the value of one funded project). Each applicant receives £280, with only one application being made per Fund session.
